Aikorn Email Greylisting

Aikorn email servers utilize greylisting for all user email accounts as a method for combating spam.

Greylisting (sometimes spelled graylisting) is a method of defending electronic mail users against email spam. A mail transfer agent which uses greylisting will "temporarily reject" any email from a sender it does not recognize. If the mail is legitimate, the originating server will try again to send it later, at which time the destination will accept it. If the mail is from a spammer, it will probably not be retried, and spam sources which re-transmit later are more likely to be listed in DNSBLs and distributed signature systems. --wikipedia.com
For more a detailed explanation, please see the greylisting entry in wikipedia.

As with all of our spam fighting systems, you're in control of your account's greylisting settings. To adjust your account's email filter settings, sign in to the spam filter control panel using your email username and password. You have complete control over many different filter settings in the control panel.
