Quickstart: Netscape 4.7 Messenger

Before you begin, please make sure you have the following:

• Your Aikorn username/login
• Your password

1. With Netscape open, go up to the top and click on Edit. In the menu, choose Preferences.

2. In the screen that comes up, on the left, under Mail & Newsgroups, click on Mail Servers. A window will appear like the one below. Click the "Add" button.

3. Enter your incoming mail server name (mail.aikorn.com) into the "Server Name" box, select "POP3" for "Server Type", and enter your email username into the "user name" box. Check "Remember password" to avoid having to type in your password each time you send/receive mail. (As per the sample below). Then click "OK".

4. You will now be back at the first screen. Look down towards the bottom for the Outgoing Mail Server area. In here, make sure you have the Outgoing Mail Server (mail.aikorn.com) and user name entered correctly.
