Quickstart: Outlook Express Mac Edition

Before you begin, please make sure you have the following:

• Your Aikorn username/login
• Your password

1. Open Outlook Express. Most newer Macs ship with it already installed, look in the "Internet" folder on your hard drive you should see a folder called "Outlook Express".

2. Click the Tools Menu, and select Accounts. A window will pop up like the one below. Click on the "New" button.

3. In the "Your Name" screen of the Account Setup Assistant, enter your real name you want to appear on your outgoing mail and click the right arrow.

4. In the Internet E-mail Address screen, check "I already have an e-mail address... " and enter your Aikorn address in the box. Click the right arrow.

5. In the "E-mail Server Names" window, select "My incoming mail server is a POP server", and enter the Incoming and Outgoing mail server names into the boxes below. Use mail.aikorn.com for both incoming and outgoing mail server addresses. Click the right arrow.

6. In the "Internet Mail Logon" window, enter your username and password. Click the right arrow.

7. In the final screen, enter a name for this account and click "Finish"

If you need to make changes to your program settings after it is set up in Outlook Express, just click on Tools Menu, select Accounts, and click the "Edit" button. You'll see a window like the below where you can make changes.
